বঙ্গানুবাদ ইংরেজি থেকে বাংলা

1) Areal friend is hewho remains true tous as long ashe lives. He will share our sorrow as well as our joys. He will stand by us in our hard times and is always ready to help us.He will risk everything, even life for thesake of his friend .

অনুবাদ:সত্যিকারের বন্ধু সে-ই, যে জীবিত থাকা পর্যন্ত আমাদের প্রতি অটল থাকে। সে আমাদের দুঃখ-কষ্ট যেমন ভাগ করে নেবে, তেমনি আনন্দও ভাগ করবে। কঠিন সময়ে সে আমাদের পাশে দাঁড়ায় এবং সাহায্য করতে সবসময় প্রস্তুত থাকে। বন্ধুর সে সবকিছু—এমনকি নিজের জীবন পর্যন্ত—ঝুঁকির মুখে ফেলতে পারে।”

2) One day a dog stole a piece of meat from a butcher shop. He was crossing over a bridge.Suddenly, he saw his own shadow inthe water.He thought that there was another dog and he had a bigger piece of meat.

অনুবাদ: একদিন একটি কুকুর একটি কসাইয়ের দোকান থেকে একটুকরো মাংস চুরি করেছিল। কুকুরটি একটি সেতুর উপর দিয়ে যাচ্ছিল। হঠাৎ সে জলের মধ্যে নিজের ছায়া দেখতে পেল। সে ভাবল যে, সেখানে আর একটি কুকুর আছে এবং তার কাছে একটা বড়ো মাংসের টুকরো আছে।

3) The teachers are regarded as the backbone of the society. They build the future citizens of country. They love students as their children.The teachers always encourage and inspire us tobe good and great in life.

অনুবাদ: শিক্ষকরা সমাজের মেরুদণ্ড হিসেবে শ্রদ্ধার পাত্র হন। তাঁরা দেশের ভবিষ্যৎ নাগরিকদের তৈরি করেন। তাঁরা ছাত্রদের নিজের সন্তানের মতো ভালোবাসেন। শিক্ষকরা সর্বদাই আমাদের উৎসাহ দেন জীবনে ভালো এবং মহৎ হওয়ার জন্য।

4) One day a fox was going beside the vine yard. He saw the ripe grapes hanging from a vine. He jumped but did not reach it. Because they were beyond his reach.

অনুবাদ: একদিন একটা শিয়াল একটা আঙুর ক্ষেতের পাশ দিয়ে যাচ্ছিল। সে দেখেছিল যে, একটা গাছ থেকে পাকা আঙুর ঝুলছে। শিয়ালটি লাফিয়েছিল কিন্তু তার নাগাল পায় নি। কারণ সেগুলি তার আয়ত্তের বাইরে ছিল।

5) Newspaper reading has become an essential part of our life . As we get up inthe morning ,we wait eagerly forthe dailypaper. Twentieth century was an age of newspaper thought news papers we gather information about different countries ofthe world .

অনুবাদ: খবরের কাগজ পড়া আমাদের জীবনের আবশ্যিক অংশ হয়ে উঠেছে। যখন আমরা সকালে ঘুম থেকে উঠি, আমরা দৈনিক কাগজের জন্য ব্যগ্রভাবে অপেক্ষা করি। বিংশ শতাব্দী খবরের কাগজের যুগ। সংবাদপত্রের মাধ্যমে আমরা পৃথিবীর বিভিন্ন দেশের সম্পর্কে তথ্য জোগাড় করি।

6) The Ganga rises in the Himalayas and flows into the Bay of Bengal. It is called the 'Backbone of India. If you think a little, you will see how important the river is.In flood time it fertilises theland lying onthe other side .

অনুবাদ: গঙ্গার উৎপত্তি হিমালয় থেকে এবং তা মিলিত হয়েছে বঙ্গোপসাগরে। একে বলা হয় 'ভারতের মেরুদণ্ড'। তুমি সামান্য ভাবলেই নদীটির গুরুত্ব বুঝতে পারবে। বন্যার সময় এটি তীরের জমিকে উর্বর করে তোলে।

7) Man is a social animal.He cannot live alone .No person can be happy without having sincere friends .But selfish persons fail to make real friendship .Because to get love youmust give love inreturn .

অনুবাদ: মানুষ সামাজিক জীব। সে একাকী বাঁচতে পারে না। কোনো ব্যক্তিই প্রকৃত বন্ধু ছাড়া সুখী হতে পারে না। কিন্তু স্বার্থপর ব্যক্তিরা প্রকৃত বন্ধুত্ব গড়ে তুলতে ব্যর্থ হয়। কারণ ভালোবাসা পেতে গেলে প্রতিদানে তোমাকেও ভালোবাসা দিতে হবে।

8) The recluse in the fable kept a cat to keep off the rats, and then a cow to feed the cat with milk and a man to keep the cow and so on. My ambitions also grew like the family ofthe recluse .

অনুবাদ: গল্পের সন্ন্যাসী ইঁদুর তাড়াবার জন্য বেড়াল পুষেছিলেন, তারপর গোরু পুষেছিলেন বেড়ালকে দুধ খাওয়াবার প্রয়োজনে, আর- একটি লোক রেখেছিলেন গোরুকে দেখাশোনার জন্য এবং এইভাবেই চলছিল। ওই সন্ন্যাসীর সংসারের মতো আমার আকাঙ্ক্ষাগুলিও বেড়ে চলেছিল।

9) Once two friends started on a travel. Their way lay through a forest .As they came half way through the forest , a bear was seen approaching slowly towards them . One of them climbed up a tree .The other did not know how to climb up atree and lay flat on his face without breathing .

অনুবাদ: একবার দুইজন বন্ধু মিলে বেড়াতে বেরোল। তাদের পথ চলে গেছে এক জঙ্গলের ভিতর দিয়ে। অর্ধেক জঙ্গল পেরোতেই তাদের চোখে পড়ল, একটা ভালুক তাদের দিকে ধীর গতিতে এগিয়ে আসছে। দুই বন্ধুর একজন একটা গাছে উঠে পড়ল ৷ অন্যজন গাছে চড়তে জানত না, সে নিঃশ্বাস বন্ধ করে মড়ার মতো পড়ে রইল।

10) Student life is the stage of preparation for future .This is the most important period oflife. A student is young today. But he will be a man tomorrow. He has different duties. He should perform them well. As a student his first dutyis tostudy and learn. He should be careful to his lessons.

অনুবাদ: ছাত্রজীবন হল ভবিষ্যতের জন্য প্রস্তুতি নেওয়ার পর্যায়। এটি জীবনের সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সময়। একজন ছাত্র আজ তরুণ। কিন্তু আগামী দিনে সে একজন পরিপূর্ণ মানুষ হয়ে উঠবে। তার বিভিন্ন কর্তব্য রয়েছে। তাকে সেগুলি সুষ্ঠুভাবে পালন করতে হবে। ছাত্র হিসেবে তার প্রথম কর্তব্য হল পড়া ও শেখা। পড়াশোনার প্রতি তার যত্নশীল হওয়া উচিত।

11) Once a wolf was much pained by a bone that stuck into his throat .He requested everyone to take off the bone and promised a hand some reward .But none ventured to take the risk .At last a crane came and drew out the bone .

অনুবাদ: একবার এক নেকড়ের গলায় একটা হাড় ফুটে যাওয়ায় সে খুব কষ্ট পাচ্ছিল। সে জনে জনে অনুরোধ করল যাতে কেউ এসে তার গলার হাড়টা বের করে দেয় আর এ কাজ যে করতে পারবে তাকে সে ভালোমতো পুরস্কৃত করবে বলে কথাও দিল। কিন্তু কেউই ঝুঁকি নিতে সাহস পেল না। শেষপর্যন্ত এক সারস এসে টেনে সেই হাড়টা বের করে দিল।
